Alex Harrington (Career group facilitator) is currently serving as a strategic planner for the Office of Policy and Planning, U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Since 2001, Alex has worked in federal service in positions overseas and here in the United States. Prior to becoming a civil servant, he served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. Alex is also credentialed as a career development facilitator through the National Career Development Association.

Corliss Taylor Jackson (Career group facilitator) is an expert on the federal government's hiring process. As a former senior-level human resources manager, she has more than ten years of hands-on work experience at the Office of Personnel Management and the Department of Health and Human Services’ National Institutes of Health. As a certified federal career counselor, job search and résumé specialist, she provides individual guidance to job seekers around the world. Also, Corliss holds a master’s degree in public administration from Ohio State University.

Teresa Harrington (Intake table volunteer) is currently employed as a training and development specialist for patient services with Virginia Heart, one of the leading cardiology practices in Northern Virginia. She has worked in the medical field since 2007. Prior to moving to the United States, she taught English in Germany and South Korea, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and a certificate in TESL from Simon Frazer University, British Columbia, Canada.

Aracely Stephenson (Volunteer coordinator) is a human resources specialist in the Office of the Secretary, Human Resources Management Division at the Department of Commerce. Her educational background is in management of human resources, applied psychology and cultural anthropology. Aracely pursues her interest in cultural studies in the Washington, D.C. area by serving as a volunteer to the Smithsonian Institution and to local community organizations. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Lou Leto is a public affairs specialist for a security agency under the Department of Defense. He has more than 20 years of experience in public affairs, publishing, and education. Also, Lou recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after serving 28 years in the Army Reserves, and holds a master’s degree in English and a graduate certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from George Mason University.
